Oniscus asellus
Oniscus asellus, the common woodlouse, is one of the largest and most common species of woodlouse in the British Isles. Thanks to John Holme for capturing this fine specimen whilst out for a bug hunt in Stockport.

Signal Crayfish
The signal crayfish, Pacifastacus leniusculus, is a North American species of crayfish. It was introduced to Europe in the 1960s. Thanks to Eddie Cooke for the photo.

Otherwise known as the (false - flat backed millipede) living mainly amongst leaf litter and under logs. this specimen was captured by Billy Reid at Abney Hall.
