Mandarin Duck Male

The mandarin duck is a perching duck species found in East Asia. However this male was captured by me at Etherow Country Park and can now be seen in quite a few green spaces in Stockport.

Very common in Stockport and always a joy to watch and photograph. This was captured by me on the Peak forest canal in marple.

Goosander (male)

The common merganser (North American) or goosander (Eurasian) is a large duck of rivers and lakes. This fine specimen was captured by Ant Marriott at Etherow Country Park.

Cayuga duck
A Cayuga Duck is a medium-class domesticated duck breed that has been a popular variety in the USA since the mid-19th century. Thanks to Sheila Moth for this resident of Roman Lakes. 

Muscovy Duck
